WiFi Hotspot allows you to offer free Internet access, paid WiFi services, or a combination of both from the same platform.

You can define how users connect, how long they can stay online, how much bandwidth they can use, and whether Internet access is provided free of charge or sold through available WiFi plans.

Choose How You Want to Offer WiFi

Before configuring the service, decide which access model you want to provide.

Free WiFi

Free WiFi is suitable when you want to provide guest Internet access without charging users.

Depending on your configuration, guests can access the network through a signup form, account login, social login, access code, or another available login method.

Free access can still be controlled with limits such as:

  • Session time

  • Account validity

  • Download and upload speed

  • Bandwidth quota

  • Number of devices

  • Login frequency

This allows you to provide complimentary WiFi without giving users unrestricted network access.

Paid WiFi

Paid WiFi allows you to sell Internet access directly to guests.

You can create different WiFi products or plans with different access conditions. For example, you may offer short-term access for occasional visitors and longer or higher-capacity plans for users who need more Internet access.

Paid plans can be configured with different:

  • Prices

  • Access durations

  • Bandwidth limits

  • Download and upload speeds

  • Account validity periods

  • Device limits

Users can select the appropriate plan from the Splash Page and complete the payment through a configured payment gateway.

Combine Free and Paid WiFi

Free and paid access can be offered together.

For example, you can provide basic complimentary WiFi while also offering paid plans with longer access time, higher bandwidth limits, or different usage conditions.

This gives visitors a choice while allowing the business to control how Internet resources are distributed.

Create Your WiFi Plan

Create the Internet access plan that will be assigned to users.

Define the limits required for the service, such as:

  • Available session time

  • Account expiration

  • Bandwidth quota

  • Download speed

  • Upload speed

  • Number of allowed devices

For free WiFi, the plan can be assigned through the selected free login or signup method.

For paid WiFi, configure the product price and make the plan available for purchase.

Configure the Splash Page

The Splash Page is where guests access your WiFi service.

Customize the page with your business branding and configure the login options that should be available to visitors.

Depending on your WiFi model, the Splash Page can provide:

  • Free signup

  • Existing account login

  • Free Internet access

  • Paid WiFi plans

  • Other configured login methods

If both free and paid WiFi are available, make the differences between the options clear so visitors can easily select the appropriate access type.

Configure Payments for Paid WiFi

If you plan to charge for Internet access, configure one of the supported payment gateways in your WiFi Hotspot account.

After the payment gateway is configured, paid WiFi products can be offered through the Splash Page.

The typical paid WiFi process is:

  1. Guest connects to the WiFi network.

  2. The Splash Page opens.

  3. Guest selects a paid WiFi product.

  4. Payment is completed.

  5. The corresponding Internet access plan is activated.

  6. Guest receives Internet access according to the configured limits.

Test Free WiFi Access

Before making the service available to guests:

  1. Connect a phone or laptop to the guest WiFi network.

  2. Confirm that the Splash Page appears.

  3. Select the free access option.

  4. Complete the required login or signup process.

  5. Confirm that Internet access is granted.

  6. Verify that the correct access limits are applied.

  7. Check that the session appears in the WiFi Hotspot dashboard.

Test Paid WiFi Access

Paid WiFi should also be tested before it is offered to guests.

  1. Connect a test device to the guest WiFi network.

  2. Open the Splash Page.

  3. Select a paid WiFi product.

  4. Complete a test payment using the appropriate payment environment.

  5. Confirm that the correct WiFi plan is activated.

  6. Verify Internet access, time, bandwidth, and other configured limits.

  7. Confirm that the transaction and user session are recorded correctly.

Testing the complete process ensures that the guest experience works correctly from the initial WiFi connection through payment and Internet access.

Monitor WiFi Usage

After the WiFi service is active, use the dashboard and Analytics reports to monitor:

  • Users and sessions

  • Online activity

  • Session duration

  • Bandwidth usage

  • Rejected logins

  • Revenue from paid WiFi

  • Product performance

This provides a complete view of how both free and paid WiFi services are being used.
